Facilitating connections and "Task Contracts" between users.

3. Disclosure & Third Parties
We only share your information when necessary:
Between Users: Limited contact details are shared between a Buyer and Tasker once a gig is booked.
Service Providers: We may share data with IT hosting, payment processors (e.g., Stripe), and verification services.
Overseas Disclosure: If we transfer data outside of New Zealand, we ensure the recipient has comparable privacy safeguards as required by Privacy Principle 12.
4. Indirect Collection (Effective 1 May 2026)
In accordance with Privacy Principle 3A, if we collect your information from a third party (e.g., a background check service or social media login), we will notify you of the collection and the purpose as soon as reasonably practicable.
5. Data Security & Retention
Security: We implement reasonable security safeguards to protect your data from loss or unauthorised access.
Retention: We only keep your personal information for as long as required for its lawful purpose.
6. Mandatory Breach Notification
If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause "serious harm," we are legally required to notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and the affected individuals within 72 hours.
